Saturday, October 8: retreat of the Bethel Fraternity

On Saturday, October 8, the Bethel Fraternity gathered to live a time of communion, prayer and joy in the Lord. For the occasion, the spouses who in 2022 reached the milestone of 25 years and 50 years of marriage were celebrated. After invoking the Holy Spirit on the lives of these couples and having lived with them a brief moment of celebration, the evening was spent meditating on the theme of the last General Conference "The Covenant – beauty and mystery", taking up the word from Ez 37:26: "I will make with them a covenant of peace that will be an eternal covenant with them"; a reflection on the prophetic vision in view of the 40th anniversary of the foundation of our community. Afterwards some brothers and sisters experienced the sign of the loom and the canvas to highlight the urgency of weaving new fraternal relationships. The evening ended with the Eucharistic celebration. The people of Bethel are ready to "run towards the goal"!
